AIM loggers can measure exhaust gas temperature using a sensor (thermocouple) placed
in the exhaust header pipe. All AIM thermocouples are K type sensors.
Exhaust gas sensor (or EGT) should be positioned in the header pipe at a distance of about 150 mm from the exhaust pipe.
